Organic, mandmade and human element

Why this matters: It reminds me to pause, check in with myself, and recenter before moving forward. Even in uncertainty, there is space to unfold, hold, and be brave.

What I noticed: I’m caught somewhere between stillness and movement. The calm sea and quiet boat create a space where I just observe intuitively, noticing my questions, worries, self-doubt, and a deep longing to listen, embrace, connect, and believe.

What I noticed: A tiny hand reaching out, playing with a little character from under the table.

Why this matters: It reminds me how even small, playful moments are full of life, curiosity, safety, and creativity.

Organic

What I noticed: The beautiful breathtaking green and its intricate natural design.

Why this matters: It reminds me of something bigger than myself.

What I noticed: The colours of nature working together in harmony, with one leaf standing quietly apart.

Why this matters: It reminded me of the quiet cycle of life and how every ending carries the beginning of something new.

What I noticed: What I noticed: The striking colour of autumn, and a leaf among many raising its head. Both this leaf and the one above somehow still alive in their own way.

Why this matters: Its pattern, shape and colour is beautiful.

Manmade

What I noticed: The sculptures colours lines and curves. I was drawn to the shapes and patterns.

Why this matters: It made me feel very connected, noticing the way the patterns changed as I looked at them.

What I noticed: From one angle it looked different, shifting as I moved around it.

Why this matters: I felt present, engaged and interested in seeing how perspective changed everything.

What I noticed: This sculpture blended with the building. Its colours and shapes echoed the architecture around it.

Why this matters: It reminded me, like with the leaves, to slow down and notice the quiet harmony between things.

What I noticed: The pure geometry repetition of clean lines and patterns. The bright blue sky really make the precise angles and scale of the building pop.

Why this matters: These structures, shapes, and colours drew me in. I lost all track of time. They remind me that there is beauty and stillness found in order.

What I noticed: I was drawn to the timeless structure of the windmill and how it stands so proudly against the sky. It creates a profound moment of pure, magnificent manmade form.

Why this matters: This structure shows me what reliance on natural and human energy look like. Its presence, standing proud, leaving a mark on the landscape reminding me of time gone by, and so much more..

Organic and manmade

What I noticed: The beautiful light, the order of the table, and the chaos of the sea and sky felt somehow calming.

Why this matters: It reminds me of the interplay of materials, steel, wood, water, and light, and the absence of human presence in this moment. The stillness and movement of nature, and human design, feel beautifully balanced.

What I noticed: I was immediately drawn to the sharp contrast between the softness and rich colour of the green moss growing on the rough, grey concrete surface. The sunlight creating a strong diagonal shadow that aligned nicely next to the moss, emphasising the light and the textures.

Why it matters: This tiny scene is a expression of connection and persistence. It shows life claiming its space, finding a way to exist even on the coldest material. It anchors me in the present noticing the beauty and vital energy in the smallest, simplest resistance.

What I noticed:  A leaf and antique book were lying on the table and wondered how they would work together. I picked up my camera, got lost in the moment and found the soft light felt warm, highlighting the unique color of the autumn leaf against the old paper. I used the focus to isolate this intimate, intricate moment.

Why this matters: This stopped me. The old old book holds a story, and the leaf shows nature’s cycle. Seeing them together in an abstract way was a perfect moment.
